This article has probably little to do with skincare or beauty. Though, I thought to publish it for it so encourages and motives, I love it so much I have decided to include in this week blog.

on Ageing (Absolutely Brilliant)
Do you realise that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we’re kids? If you’re less than 10 years old, you’re so excited about ageing that you think in fractions.
‘How old are you?’ ‘I’m four and a half!’ You’re never thirty-six and a half. You’re four and a half, going on five! That’s the key
You get into your teens, now they can’t hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.
‘How old are you?’ ‘I’m gonna be 16!’ You could be 13, but hey, you’re gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life ….. . You become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony. YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!
But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There’s no fun now, you’re Just a sour-dumpling. What’s wrong? What’s changed?
You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you’re PUSHING 40…. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it’s all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 and your dreams are gone.
But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60. You didn’t think you would!
So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.
You’ve built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it’s a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!
You get into your 80’s and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30 ; you REACH bedtime. And it doesn’t end there Into the 90s, you start going backwards; ‘I Was JUST 92.’
Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. ‘I’m 100 and a half!’
May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay ‘them’
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. ‘An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’ And the devil’s name is Alzheimer’s.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love , whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don’t take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER :
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

We are all born with a certain skin type; some are lucky than others, so it’s up to you to work with what you were given. Potentially, we all can have healthy skin, you just need to follow some simple rules.
Before you go out and buy your next skin care product, you would need to know your skin type.
What is my skin type
A normal skin looks clear and is even in color. It is soft and supple to the touch. It is neither greasy nor tight. A normal skin would usually have the following characteristics:
You will feel smooth and comfortable after cleansing, regardless of the facial cleansers used. You can either use facial wash with water or cream cleanser.
Your skin still looks fresh and clean by midday.
You will only experience occasional outbreaks of acne and pimples, perhaps before or during your period or when you are under a lot of stress.
Your skin feels very comfortable after applying rich night cream.
Oily Skin Type
An oily skin gives a shiny complexion. It has a tendency to develop whiteheads and blackheads. An oily skin would usually have most of the following characteristics:
Your skin feels fine and quite comfortable after cleansing with facial wash or cleansing bar and water.
Your skin feels quite oily after cleansing with cream cleanser.
Your skin will appear shiny by midday.
You will experience frequent outbreaks of acne and pimples.
Your skin feels very oily after applying rich night cream.
Sensitive Skin Type
A sensitive skin would usually have most of the following characteristics:
Your skin feels dry and itchy in some places after cleansing with facial wash or cleansing bar and water.
Your skin feels sometimes comfortable, sometimes itchy after cleansing with cream cleanser.
Flaky patches and some redness may appear by midday.
You will experience occasional outbreaks of acne and pimples.
Your skin will sometimes feel comfortable, other times irritated after applying rich night cream.
Dry Skin Type
The skin is continuously losing moisture to the atmosphere. During winter, when the humidity is at its lowest, it will lose even more moisture. When water is lost faster than it can be replaced, the outer layer of the skin dries out.
Dry skin looks old, is pale in color. It feels flaky and rough. It feels tight after washing. It is easily irritated and may even feel itchy. There is a tendency to develop fine dry-lines, especially around the eyes. Dry skin rarely suffers acne outbreaks.
A dry skin would usually have most of the following characteristics:
After cleansing with facial wash or cleansing bar and water, your skin feels tight, as though it is too small for your face.
Your skin feels relatively comfortable after cleansing with cream cleanser.
Flaky patches starts to appear by midday.
You will hardly experience any outbreaks of acne and pimples.
Your skin will feel very comfortable after applying rich night cream.
What makes good skincare product
Choosing good natural skincare products that are right for your skin is a lot easier than it once was. Of course you are still going to have every company telling you how wonderful their particular skincare products are. But if you go the natural way the chances are you will be much less likely to suffer from any allergic reactions although this is always still a possibility for those with highly sensitive skin.
Not so long ago anti aging skincare products were high tech, synthetic products aimed at using every available bio-technological advancement ever heard of. Today the trend is a return to natural, organic ingredients to nourish and support the system. Men’s skincare products are no different, just as with women’s skincare products there is a range to suit every skin type.
In the end you need to decide on a product you like the look of, the scent of, the texture of and the sound of, whether or not it will give you the benefits you want. Whatever your choice looking after your skin is important.
Good tips for good skincare
First your diet- what goes inside of you contributes a whole lot to what shows up on the outside of our body. A change in your intake can go a long way. Decreasing sugar consumption and drinking lots of water could drastically reduce the appearance of blackheads.
Secondly, you want to get into the habit of nourishing your skin with a great product line. Considering you have sensitive skin you want a product line that is formulated without dyes or harsh chemicals; is nature based using plants, flowers, herbs and pure essential oils (these will combat the appearance of oily skin and blackheads). You want to treat your skin with ingredients that are organic as well.
Exfoliate and Hydrate! Keep the skin free from old dead cells and keep the oil at bay by utilizing a gentle facial cleanser.
